I am still recuperating from a fall received on Easter Sunday at which time I suffered a broken bone. Thanks to all, who have been so kind to me with their visits, goodies, cards and those taking me to Charlottesville to doctors for x-rays and other kindnesses.
Miss Ginger Revercomb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Nelson Revercomb of Peola Mills and Arlington entertained the 1985 Kappa Delta Sorority Pledge Class of VPI at their country home, Nell-Mar last weekend. Thirty pledges and two big sisters enjoyed this pledge trip.
Dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Everette Yowell were Mrs. Yowell’s mother, Mrs. Maude Longaker of Annandale, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Seale of Annandale, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Yowell and children, Scott, Beth, Jenny and Kevin, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Yowell and LeaAnna and Kenneth Yowell.
Mrs. Robert Lillard and grandchildren, Dawn and Richie visited Mr. and Mrs. Larry Marks and daughter at Wolftown on Sunday. They also visited Mrs. Emma Crigler at The Towers in Charlottesville on Sunday afternoon.
