If I should gain anything for the loss of my dog I would hope it would be to save someone else’., pet. Work with your fellow man, I’m sure he realizes the cost of your losses. One realizes at this day and time no one can afford to suffer a loss. But, before you act, weigh the losses. Even if you have no feeling for the animal, think of the grief of the family who owns and loves the pet will suffer.
So many animals are struck by cars, put to sleep and just plain mistreated. Treat your pets well and watch over them.

I then read a column from Pat Buchanan last year that in short, condemns the National Education Association, and illustrates clearly that some of the biggest educational spenders are doing the poorest job of teaching. Washington, D.C. for instance. Highest drop-out rate and lowest SAT scores in the country, and the biggest spenders excepting one!
Of course I knew this would go over like a 300 pound boulder to a drowning man at this meeting where supporters of the budget and increased taxation would be present in force, but somehow I feel compelled, if not responsible to research and bring out these numbers and real situations present as they evolve. Supervisor Baldwin was the only member of the board who challenged the accusation of irrelevant and irresponsible, by taking interest in the numbers. I am surprised that only two persons out of around 90 thought that a 24 percent decrease in productivity of our taxed dollar was relevant. We need to at least consider learning now to do better with less. The suggestion of which is not irrelevant and irresponsible. It is just the opposite as it can be. It is my sworn duty.
