Flint Hill Extension Club To Meet
The Flint Hill Home Extension Club will meet on Tuesday, May 14 at the home of Mrs. Sandra Jenkins at 7;30 p.m. All members are asked to bring their favorite cottage cheese and other cheese recipes.
Teen Leader Workshop Scheduled
A teen workshop has been scheduled at the Northern Virginia 4-H Education Center on May 17 and 18. Registration is at 6 p.m. on May 17. The program begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and ends at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The cost is $15. This workshop is for all teens ages 14 and up, who are interested in being leaders at 4-H camp. Community Health Day
Warren Memorial Hospital will celebrate National Hospital Week by observing Community Health Day on Saturday, May 18. A Lung Association hike-a-thon, 10K run, community health exhibits and free health screens are planned. For more information, call 636-6101, extension 143.
Benefit Auction At Amissville Fire Hall
A benefit auction will be held on Saturday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Amissville fire hall. The event is being sponsored by the members of the Amissville Fire Department.
