AN OLD-FASHIONED CHRISTIAN MOTHER II Timothy Chaper 1 Greetings in Jesus' name! Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and ofjesus our Lord, (n Peter 1.2) We see in 11 Timothy 1:5. that Timothy had a Christian mother and grandmother The Lord used Timothy because he was taught the Word of God. We need mothers in America today that love our Savior and teach the children that He is the only one who can save us from our sins. Jesus said. "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6: Acts 4:12) We need mothers today that will love a good fundamental Bible - believing church. Love it so much that she will attend it regularly (Hebrews 10:25) When we love the church like we should we will pray for it (1 Thess 517), and bring our tithes and offerings to support it. (Malachi 3:10,1 Cor. 16:2: II Cor 9:6,7) This is the way God planned to support the local church. God uses born-again believers as instruments in giving When that is done, we won t have to ask people for money We need godly mothers and fathers that believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God (II Timothy 3 16) The word of God is needed in the Christian life. The Lord speaks to us today through the Word of God (Heb 12: John 1:1: John 1:14) He does not speak through visions The Word speaks for itself May He the Holy Spirit speak to your heart as you read this. We need more Christian mothers that will love their home, children, husbands, and their duties She has many duties, but the most important one is to be her husband's helpmate. (Genesis 2 18-24) The Lord is to be the head of every home and the husband over the wife (Ephesians 5:23) Wives submit yourselves unto your own husband, as unto the Lord. (Eph. 5 22) This is pleasing unto the Lord When we please Him. the home will prosper and the children will turn out right. (Proverbs 22:6) 1 trust this has been a blessing to you. If it has not been a blessing, it could be that you are not saved If you do not know the Savior personally, would you bow your head and repent of sin. and ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you? Jesus said, "Except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish ." (Luke 13 3) Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13) If you are not going to a sound gospel preaching church, come and be with us this Sunday at 10 00 am for Sunday School and 11:00 a.m. for worship service May God bless you is my prayer John K.
