asked what would be done about county dogs that come into town. Mayor Peter Kramer said that the ordinance would be publicized so that people will be aware that any dog found roaming the town’s streets will be picked up by the warden.
Another town resident, Fran Eldred, suggested that the council define the term “reasonable effort” in connection with notification of owners. “That term is an ambiguous term that people, with great regularity, land on,” Eldred said.
Kramer said that he did not think that the term needed to be defined.
