The Governor’s Commission on Child Support will hold a public hearing July 22 at Student Union II, George Mason University, Fairfax, to hear views on the subject of child support and to receive suggested solutions to some of the problems in the state’s child support system.

The Commission and the Virginia Department of Social Services, the child support enforcement agency in Virginia, are especially interested in hearing public concern in the following areas: Custody and visitation; enforcement modifications and abatement; revised interstate uniform reciprocal enforcement of Support Act; paternity; and support standards.
