Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Revercomb of Arlington spent the weekend at NelMar.
Mrs. Jean W. Gallihugh visited her son, daughter-in-law and family, the Don Gallihughs in Louisa from Thursday through Saturday. On Friday, Mrs. Jean and Linda Gallihugh and Misty Gallihugh were in Williamsburg shopping.
Mrs. Robert Lillard and granddaughter, Dawn accompanied Mrs. Ronnie Smith and daughter, Angie to Harrisonburg on Sunday where Angie attended a week long basketball school at James Madison University.
Mr. and Mrs. Randall Lillard along with other members of the family were on vacation last week at Nags Head, North Corolina. Their children visited relatives while they were away. Austin with his grandparents, Mr, and Mrs. Robert Lillard, Kristie with her aunt, Cheryl Farley in Fredricksburg and Brandon with Mrs. Rose Thomas at Manassas.
Mrs. Jean Gallihugh and Mrs. Edith Green were in Harrisonburg on Monday where Mrs. Gallihugh attended a meeting of Stanley Home Products dealers.
Mr. and Mrs. Festus Hudson Jr. had as their guests from Saturday through Wednesday their grandchildren, Cary and Amy Hudson. Other guests on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Hollar and children, Courtney and Nicole of Haymarket and Richie Lillard.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Yowell attended their church picnic last Sunday at Bull Run Park.
Mrs. Homer Jenkins and Mrs. Andy Aylor of Etlan visited Homer Jenkins at Shawnee Springs Nursing Home in Winchester on Friday. Homer remains about the same.
Mrs. Roger Jones and daughter, Diana visited Mrs. Homer Jenkins on Sunday.
Mrs. Homer Jenkins was a dinner guest of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Aylor at Golden Corral in Culpeper on Sunday. It was Mrs. Jenkins’ birthday. Later in the afternoon they visited Mrs. Mary Weakley at Etlan.
Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Revercomb of Arlington spent the weekend at Nel Mar and had as their dinner guests on Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Paul Holtberg of Arlington.
Mrs. Florence and Katherine Thompson of Asbury Methodist Home in Gaithersburg, Md., visited Mr. and Mrs. Bill Thompson from Friday through Wednesday.
Miss Sarah Thompson, who is a teacher at Chatham Hall in Chatham, Va., has returned after spending several weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Thompson.
Mrs. Homer Jenkins and daughter, Mrs. Andy Aylor of Etlan. visited Homer Jenkins on Wednesday at Shawnee Springs Nursing Home in Winchester. Mrs. Jenkins seemed to think that in some ways he was a little improved. We all wish him the best.
