Mrs. Chester Roth and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ortu of Somerset', N. J., were guests of Mrs. Louis Buff in Maryland and visited places of interest in D. C. for approximately a week. They later were joined by Mr. Roth and son in Madison County where they spent a week with Mrs. Roth’s sisters and families, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lillard and Mr. and Mrs. Maury Jenkins, and other members of her family. Mrs. Jean Gallihugh was a recent overnight guest of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Gallihugh, and children Misty and Jeremy in Louisa. On Thursday night they all enjoyed a cookout to celebrate the birthdays of Jean, Don and Jeremy. Susan Gallihugh and Jon Yowell of Culpeper also attended.

Mrs. Randall Lillard worked on Saturday at Mulberry Magic Gift Shop in Criglersville.
A group of 49 persons from Bethlehem Methodist Church attended a picnic on Skyline Drive on Sunday. All enjoyed the fellowship, the food and the welcome coolness of the high altitude, not to forget the big horseshoe games enjoyed by the men.
