Mrs. Charles Burke accompanied the Jennings Burke family home to Woodbridge on Thursday evening and spent Friday with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Metzger at Lorton.
On Saturday the Jennings Burke family and Mrs. Charles Burke motored to Bristol, Pa., to spend the weekend as guests of Mrs. Pauline Hershey. Mrs. Hershey is the daughter of Mrs. Charles C. Burke.
Mrs. Arthur Vaughan of Fredericksburg celebrated her 83rd birthday on July 8. Guests there to help celebrate the occasion were Mrs. John Metzger of Lorton, Mrs. Bill Bennett of Alexandria, Miss Dawn Metzger oi Stafford, Misses Jennifer and Mary Lynn Burke of Woodbridge and Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Burke of Front Royal. Also attending was Mrs. Charles C. Burke, who wouldn’t have missed the opportunity to be with her sister on this special occasion. We hope you had a happy day and wish you many more.
