Construction and renovation are giving the Town of Washington a new look. The following can be expected soon: An Art Gallery
Dr. and Mrs. Krebser of Huntly are building an art gallery on Main Street, which will specialize in European art dating from the 17th to the 19th century. It will also include some art from the early 20th century. The gallery will be namedLa Gallerie Dea Beaux-Arts. Construction will be completed in the fall.
Mrs. Krebser, who will manage the gallery, said she is primarily interested in selling art to corporations. She added that the gallery will probably be open to the public on weekends.
Parish Hall
The Parish Hall at Trinity Episcopal Church is being extended 22 feet.
