REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICESPERRYVILLE

SEWERAGE

TREATMENT SYSTEM

The Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will consider requests for additions to the service of the Sperryville Sewerage Treatment System from property owners whose property falls within the project’s service area, but are not currently scheduled to be serviced as shown on the present project plans. Plans are available for public inspection during Monday through Friday work hours at the Sewage Treatment Plant Construction trailer in Sperryville, the Rappahannock County Courthouse in Washington, or the Rappahannock-Rapidan Planning District Commission, 121 W. Locust Street, Culpeper. Requests must be in writing, explaining conditions and stating justification for each request, and received by the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority, P. O. Box 198, Washington, VA. 22747 no later than August 9, 1985. Please be aware that only existing structures are eligible for free installation through grant funds. Service to vacant lots and new construction are ineligible for grant funds and hook-up/installation fees associated with such service will be charged. Requests will be ranked in a suggested order of priority by the Project Engineer based on current status of discharge to the Thornton River, location of property within the project service area, and other appropriate criteria. Consideration of this priority list and final decisions regarding service additions will be made by the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority.
