That means no more worry about hauling water to the livestock. A spring development works totally on a gravity flow system and therefore always provides a continuous flow of clean, fresh water for livestock.
A spring development site generally needs about a five-foot fall from the source of the spring to the watering trough. A good gravel bed around the trough will stabilize the surrounding area for good footage.
