“How do you go from one room to another with a door in between?” This is a question that instructor Charles Blohowiak often presents to his computer classes as a test to see if students can be successful working with computers.
On February 15, thirteen teachers from the Rappahannock County School system completed a class entitled “Computer Science for Teachers.” It was offered by Lord Fairfax Community College. The four weekend, five quarter credit hour class, was offered to teachers who needed recertification or who wanted to become more comfortable with the operation of the computer and basic software programs.
