Ruby Payne
Mrs. Ruby Lee Sisk Payne, 59, of Culpeper died Friday, February 21, 1986 at University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
Mrs. Payne was a native of Rappahannock County and her parents were the late Ashby Sisk and Bertha Leake Sisk,
Survivors include her husband, John R. Payne of Culpeper; a son, John Richard Payne of Culpeper; two grandsons; two sisters, Mrs. Louise S. Whitlock of Culpeper and Mrs. Dorothy S. Seay of Fredericksburg; a brother, Floyd C. Sisk of Culpeper.
Graveside services were held at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper, Monday, February 24 with the Rev. Steve Combs of Stevensburg Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Wayne Burton, Victor Burton, Kenneth Whitlock, Jerry Whitlock, Robert L. Payne, Jr., and William Tutwilder.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Arlean Hofmann
Mrs. Arlean L. Hofmann, 65, of Canton, Ohio died Saturday, February 8,1986 in Timkin Mercy Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was bom in Woodville and had been a Canton resident for 20 years. Her father was the late Lewis Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Karl K. Hofmann; three daughters,
