Birthday wishes are extended to Mrs. Marie Woodard, who celebrated her birthday Wednesday. She, her husband and children reside on The Hill farm.

Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Mason spent last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Lacy Corbin and Mr. and Mrs. James Kelchner in Winchester.

Mr. and Mrs. George Wharton, Sarah and Stephen were guests during last weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Frazier of Jeffersonton.

H. W. Jenkins, U.S. Air Force, arrived Saturday from San Antonio, Texas, to spend a furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Huffman.

Marvie Burke of Rochelle and William Burke of Charlottesville were luncheon guests Tuesday of Mrs. Bessie Corbin. Mrs. Corbin was an overnight guest Wednesday of Mrs. Elizabeth Settle at Brandy Station.

Michael Toms has recuperated and returned to his job at the Post Office here.

Heartfeld sympathy is being expressed from our community to the Bennett family upon the passing of James Bennett and also to Mrs. Lucy S. Jenkins upon the passing of her brother, Jake Sisk. Both gentlemen died on Saturday.

Guests last Sunday of Mrs. Cary Thornhill were Mr. and Mrs. Winfrey Thornhill of Nokesville, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thornhill and daughter Cindy and Tom Kerns of Vienna.

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Meredith and family of Leon were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Nicholson and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Duncan of Shenandoah spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan.

Belated birthday wishes go to Mrs. Roy Frazier, who celebrated hers on Tuesday.

Mrs. C. D. Marshall and her daughter Mrs. John Wilmont of Linden were in Richmond Monday to visit Mr. Marshall, who is now a patient in McGuire Hospital.
