The Hospice of the Rapidan will be having a month long training session in April. The training will be held at Culpeper Memorial Hospital from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning April 1. The training program will include such topics as “The History and Philosophy of the Hospice Concept,” “Family Dynamics,” “Listening and Communication Skills,” “Physical and Pyschological Pain,” and “Grief and Bereavement.”
If anyone is interested in volunteering with the Hospice program or just wants to understand death and dying, you are welcome to register for the training program by visiting our office at 126 South Main Street in Culpeper or call Sue or Bev at 826-4840.
