According to the 1981 data
summary released by the Rappahannock-Rapidan Planning District Commission, Rappahannock hits both ends of the statistical scale with the lowest tax rate and the highest unemployment rate in the five-county area.
“The Wizard of Oz” will be presented Friday and Saturday, March 20 and 21,at Rappahannock County High School with curtain time set for 8 p.m. The dramatization by L. Frank Baum will be directed by Don Bomberger, RCHS faculty member. The story is especially designed for school age children and the young at heart.
