To the editor:
The elected officials of Rappahannock County have an obligation to uphold the zoning laws in order to protect the natural beauty of our county. The zoning ordinance should be the tool the county uses to administratively implement the comprehensive plan. If we let' special interest and politics enter into the interpretation and enforcement of our zoning ordinance, it will soon become unenforceable. Much precedence has been set by selective and arbitrary interpretation of the old ordinance, to the point where it has become invalid.
