Counties, Rappahannock has been put in a new state house district which includes Orange, Madison, Culpeper and Rappahannock. In the new senatorial district, Rappahannock is with Culpeper, Madison, Page, Rockingham and the City of Harrisonburg. Del. Slaughter welcomed the county to his district, stating that he will be happy to serve its citizens.
The March meeting of the Rappahannock County PTA will be held in the auditorium of the elementary school at 7:30 p.m. on March 17. The meeting' will commemorate the fact that March is Children’s Art Month by sponsoring an Art Fair which will feature work done by the pupils at the elementary school. Several speakers will talk briefly on subjects related to teaching art in the elementary school and it is hoped that children and teachers will be available to discuss
