on Fodderstack 10-K By LOU HATTER Rappahannock News Special Writer Saturday dawned clear and cool for the eighth annual Fodderstack 10-Kilometer Road Race. It was a near-perfect day for running, and the race, like the weather, received unanimous approval as a smashing success. A total of 223 runners massed at the start in Flint Hill, and 6.2 miles and numerous hills later, 211 weary but triumphant finishers broke the tape in front of the courthouse in Washington. Tim Kearney, of Culpeper, ran away from the rest of the field, winning the race with a time of 33:58, a full two minutes ahead of second-place Randolph Wingfield (35:59) from Winchester.
