from a House subcommittee, the Small Business Administration is sending up to 16 employees to Virginia and West Virginia to close thousands of loans pending from last November’s flood, an official said Friday.
Richard Nash, area director of SBA disaster assistance in Atlanta, said several loan officers traveled to Roanoke and Clarksburg, W. Va., this week to call applicants whose loans have not been closed. More will be following during the next few days, he said.
