Saturday night was prom mgnt and Kristi hoped that the car’s presence made the students more aware of what could happen to them.
Co-sponsors Jon Heddleston and Helen LaCava stated that their classes were interested in going to see the car. Mr. Heddleston said that some of the students thought the beer bottles were put in the car deliberately, and were surprised when they were told they had been there since the accident.
Mrs. LaCava was pleased that Kristi took the initiative to begin RADD. She said, “She was our guiding spirit.”
