The local point-to-point season draws to a close this Sunday with the Rappahannock Hunt’s races at Thornton Hill Farm, rescheduled from March after being cancelled by snow.
Despite the rescheduling and the late date in the season, Sunday’s meet has drawn a good field of horses for the eight-race card on the picturesque mountainside course. All the times are the same for the new meet with pair races beginning at 10:30 a.m. and regular races at noon. These times will be at the new daylight saving time which changes Saturday night.
