Mary Welch
Mary Kathleen Welch, 51, of Linden, died April 15 at Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church.
Mrs. Welch was born Feb. 23, 1935, in Page County, a daughter of the late Aubrey H. and Zula May Taylor Sisk.
She was an employee of Avtex in Front Royal and a member of the Stanley Baptist Church.
On July 5, 1984, she married Mitchell Allen Welch, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Charles “Chuck” Short of Stanley, a daughter, Wanda S. Tharpe of Front Royal, a stepson, Aaron Welch of Flint Hill, two brothers, Lewis A. and Earl J. Sisk, both of Front Royal, a sister, Ila Gibson of Front Royal, and four step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted April 17 at the Stanley Baptist Church by Dr. Larry B. Patton. Burial was in the family cemetery at Stanley.
