Volunteers appreciated
To the editor:
April 20-26 is National Volunteer Week,-a time to recognize the enormous value of volunteers to our community. As supervisor of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program for this area, I would like to commend the many volunteers in their many roles who offer so much to Rappahannock County and its residents.
Volunteering is a solid tradition in America, and we are fortunate to be able to participate in and benefit from such activities.
