After starts and stops and many doubts, enough residents were found deciding to sign on for a bus trip-picnic to Wolftrap for the Kirov Ballet performance on June 4.
RAAC Director Anne Stephens, following up a suggestion of Dr. William Young, got the details for the excursion: We would need a minimum of 25 people to pay for the bus, and tickets had to be purchased in person on April 20 at Wolftrap, the ticket office to open at noon.
Demand for the tickets was so great that to make it “democratic” the Wolftrap powers decided only 10 tickets per person to be doled out to an orderly queue.
