Thanks to 97 dedicated Rappahannock Elementary students, the buy-a-board campaign, a fund raiser for the playground face lift, was a success. The students raised $2,402.

The students who sold the most boards were announced at the SPTA movie last Friday night by playground chairman Maggie Rogers.

First grader Nathan Flinchum was named highest salesman. He collected $216 from relatives, friends and in his words “some very nice people.”

As highest salesman Nathan received $50 for his hard work. When asked what he was going to do with his award money he said, “I’ll probably put it in my savings
