Rappahannock's trash crisis appears-to be over, at least for the time being.
Robert Forman, area supervisor for solid and hazardous waste management, reported on Monday that the closure plan for the county’s privately owned and , operated landfill has been approved, with the inclusion of a 10 foot elevated extension to provide another 12 months of capacity- ityMr.
Forman had projected that capacity at the Woodville site would be reached this July and had ordered a closure plan filed. Closure of the landfill on Clifton Clark’s property would have left Community Trash Disposal, Inc., without a dump site
