The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at its new location, the parish hall of the Warrenton United Methodist Church, on Thursday, July 31, between noon and 6 p.m. The hall is just off the Warrenton Bypass on Church Street, the first intersection north of Waterloo Street.
The first blood drive of the Fauquier Chapter of the Red Cross in its new fiscal year that began July 1 has a goal of 90 units (pints), according to George Borjes, the chapter’s blood services chairman.
For this fiscal year, the Fauquier Chapter — which serves Rappahannock as well as Fauquier County — has been given a quota of 1225 units. This is a reduction from last year’s quota of 1300 but is more realistic, says Borjes, in light of the chapter’s performances during the past few
