Student enrollment of Lord Fairfax Community College continues to grow. Nearly 600 students registered for summer classes, an increase of 16 percent over last summer’s record of 505. During the last four registration periods the college has set three new enrollment records.
Dr. William H. McCoy, president of the college, said the growing number of students is a result of more people using the college’s transfer program to begin their four-year degree and technical programs to upgrade job skills. Dr. McCoy said he expects Lord Fairfax to continue to be one of the fastest growing colleges in Virginia.
