Want to do something really fun this summer — fun for the entire family? Then be sure to mark your calendar for Sunday, July 27, for the eighth annual Bull Run Country Jamboree! It’s a day of country fun for every member of the family.

Country music, country fun and all around country hospitality will abound at this summer’s Bull Run Country Jamboree, thanks once again to the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority and this area’s official country music station, WMZQ, 98.7 FM, 1390 AM. The public is invited to a foot-stomping, hand-clapping day of country fun, with great music, great country cooking, and great fun and games.

The country fun begins at 10 a.m., when the sounds of one terrific local group The Country Bach Band will hit the air. And how about a little Texas Two-Step or swing dancing? Then join The Foggy Bottom Dancers at the pavilion for a “joinin’’ demonstration.

The park will be closed on Jamboree day to all but Jamboree ticket holders. The ticket entitles them tc the use of one of the East Coast’s largest swimming pools, mini-golf
