Mrs. E. A. McNear was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club July 11 at her home.

Guests were Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. W. A. Cordle, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Jack Brown, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., and Mrs. Ian Pride.

Prize winners were Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Quaintance and Mrs. Pride.

Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne were weekend guests of Mrs. Lyne’s sister, Mrs. C. R. Powell in Kilmarnock.

Mrs. Robert W. Brown and Mrs. Maurice Butler of Annandale have returned from a trip to London, England.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy M. Reeve of State College, Pa., spent several days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Baldwin, Sr., and Mrs. Roy L. Reeve.

Miss Ann Dwyer of Culpeper spent a few days last week with her sister, Mrs. Ruby Dwyer.

Miss Grace Woods of Haddon Heights, N. J., and Mrs. Kenneth Winterbottom of Mt. Ephriam, N. J., have been houseguests of Mrs. Harald Havstad and son Peter Havstad.

Mrs. Mary Quaintance had as dinner guests last Thursday evening at The Little Chef near Madison Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sanford, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sanford III and children, Lyle Sanford of Orange, Dr. John P. Snead, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Lindsay and children, Carolyn and Mark of Charlottesville, and Mrs. Frances Thornton and granddaughter Felicia Thornton.

Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and daughter Heather Aylor were overnight guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Aylor and son David in Woodbridge. The Aylors visited Mrs. Tommy Cozzo in Falls Church Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer spent a part of last week on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina.
