Jimmy Bywaters spent Monday with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Smoot.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crane of Lanham, Md., spent the weekend with the latter’s sister and brotherin-law Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McCulloch.

The United Methodist Women met Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Robert Eastham. Members present were Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. M. H. Brady, Mrs. Lillard, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. Phil Lama, Mrs. John Miller, Mrs. Doug Bywaters, Mrs. Wade Pullen, Mrs. Bill Welch, Mrs. Moe Walker, Mrs. Jack Curtis, Mrs. Dabney Eastham and Mrs. Earl Duvall.

Miss Denise Howell of Richmond spent the weekend with her grandmother Mrs. Paul Miller.

Mrs. Edward Welch returned to her home on Monday after being a patient at Warren Memorial Hospital.

M. R. Bradford, Jr., entered Warren Memorial Hospital Sunday.

Visiting Mrs. Robert Nethers Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Methers, Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr.

Remember the Flint Hill Firemen’s Carnival to be held July 30 through August 2.

Mrs. Irene Hamilton of High Point, N. C., returned home over the weekend after a visit with her mother Mrs. Moffett Brady.

Mrs. Doris Vest and Mrs. Renee Calisto visited Mr. and Mrs. James Nicholson in Luray Tuesday.
