“We already have laws against road hunting and those laws are being broken,” said Nelson Atkins. “It’s illegal to hunt from the road now and that’s not being enforced. No offense to Mr. Bankston and Sheriff Woodard’s deputies - they can’t be everywhere,” Mr. Atkins said, nodding his head in the direction of the game warden and the sheriff. “Local people who see these things going on must be willing to report them, swear out a warrant and go to court.”
