There may he u tendency to confuse tranquility with thepopular tranquilizers. There is, of course, a great difference.

Tranquilizers arc sometimes prescribed to soothe a troubled mind or body; but tranquility of the mind comes through the calm peace that is realized when one’s life is so attuned to God’s will that there is neither time nor space to allow frustration and eonfusion to invude the inner spirit of the soul.

A tranquil mind is not an inactive one, and it is never a closed door, but rather an open door to more abundant blessings with an ever faithful assurance that God has even more blessings in store for us.

When we are at peace with our maker, we arc capable of inviting tranquility to enter and live within us; we seek His will quietly with the knowledge dial lie never fails us.

Your church or synagogue offers an opportunity for this serenity.
