On Nov. 13, 12 Wakefield students travelled to New York City and Long Island to participate in a model United Nations Conference. The students, juniors and seniors in the school, represented the countries of India and Japan at the conference.
Prior to attending the model United Nations which took place from Friday, Nov. 14, through Sunday, Nov. 16, the students visited the United Nations in New York City. Additionally, the students were afforded an opportunity to meet with the secretaries of the permanent missions to the United Nations.
