Road. That testing was completed Thursday morning, one day ahead of schedule, and Chairman Hubert Gilkey suggested that, since the equipment was in the county, at least one of the other possible sites being consdered by the landfill committee should be tested.
The board met to authorize testing at the Saltonstall tract because, as Mr. Gilkey explained, “we have the equipment up here now, there is a written recommendation (on the Saltonstall property) forthcoming, and the landfill committee is very much in favor of testing it.”
