SEE WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: When you, a self-employed person, contribute $500 to support the Child Care & Learning Center the results are: A. Half your cost - $250-is offset by a 50% credit against your Virginia taxes. Virginia pays half!!! B. And the remaining $250? For a top 1986 Federal bracket donor the $250 is completely offset. Net cost - zero. Where else can you do so well while helping children who cannot pay full (or perhaps any) fees?
