Team members Dwight Parker (Captain), Liz Oliver, Brenden Finnerty, and Jonathan Watson were overjoyed with the outcome. Jonathan is the only team member out of the members of the 32 competing schools who has participated in five consecutive years of academic competition on “Pop Quiz.”
Coaches Cindy Wayland and Roger Flinchum continue to arrange mock matches against school personnel and community members in preparation for their second round of competition against Luray High School Feb. 17 which will be aired Feb. 19, also on WVPT, Channel 51.
