Candlelight service
at Bethel Baptist
The youth department and Sunday School of the Bethel Baptist Church, Amissville, will conduct a candlelight service Dec. 28 at 6 p.m. at the church. The featured singers for the evening will be the Nova Massed Choir under the leadership of Skip Carter of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Warrenton.
All the youth and Sunday schools in the area are invited to this event. Refreshments will be served. Alberta Brown, youth supervisor, and Flora Carter, superintendent of the Sunday School, will be in charge.
Hopewell Baptist
The Hopewell Baptist Church will present its Christmas program after the worship service at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14. The Rev. U. S. Brokenburr, pastor, invites the public to attend.
