Remember, those whose only concern is low taxes, in this case at the expense of quality education, are making their opinions known to our supervisors. Let us be equally heard.
2) Write or call your supervisor to put representative government into action. Again, they need to hear both sides of this controversy to truly represent Rappahannock’s citizens. 3) Attend the public hearing on Thursday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary School. (The high school facility, where this meeting should be held, may not be large enough to accommodate the turnout of citizens.)
We know this is a very busy time of year, and it’s easy to stay uninvolved in this fight for education. But we believe some time given to this cause can provide a gift much more lasting to your children than another Christmas toy. It can help insure them of a bright future, stemming from a quality education in an adequate high school facility.
