NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries, at a meeting held in Marion, Virginia, on October 24, 1986, adopted the following amended regulations pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29-126 and 29127 of the Code of Virginia, to become effective January 1, 1987, unless otherwise noted herein.
VR 325-01-1.
In General.
Section 4 is amended to delete "grayling* and "lake trout" from the definition of "game fish."
VR 325-03-1.
Fishing Generally.
Section 2 is amended to lower the creel limit for largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass from eight per day in the aggregate to five per day in the aggregate. This amendment is effective January 1, 1987, except in the Gaston and Kerr Reservoirs, where is is effective July 1,1987.
VR 325-03-2.
Trout Fishing.
Section 1 is amended to change the general open season on trout from noon the first Saturday in April through February 15 to 9:00 a m. the third Saturday in March through February 1.
