Charles Humphrey Thomas, 76, of Washington, died March 16 at Winchester Medical Center* -
Mr. Thomas wastaomiri Rappahannock County, the son of the late Charles H. and Servilla Whorton Thomas. He was married to the late Lucille Ramey Thomas. He was a retired construction worker.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. March 19 at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home, Culpeper, the Rev. Merlin Shorb officiating. Burial will be in Washington Masonic Cemetery, Washington.
Pallbearers will be Gibson Whorton, Nelson Nethers, Carlton Atkins, Emory Russell, James W. Fletcher and Jimmy Lilian!.
Clarence Johnson
Clarence Berkley Johnson, 92, of Aubumdale, Fla., formerly of Woodville, died March 16 at his home.
Mr. Johnson was bora in Browntown, the son of the late John Henry and Florence Gore Johnson. His wife was the late Mary Lucy Johnson. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Dr. James Henry Johnson of Aubumdale; one brother, Raymond Johnson of Woodville; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. March 21 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Boston, with the Rev. John Warren officiating. Burial will be in Woodville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be H. B. Wood, Bryan Johnson, Ricky Johnson, Donald Highlander, Franklin M. Duncan, J. Maurice O’Bannon, Gordon Thornhill and Howard Holschuh.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. March 20 at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home, Culpeper.
