Patrick Powers
Patrick Brice Powers, 32, of Upperville and Boston, died March 10 at Upperville. Mr. Powers was a native of Maryland who had lived in Boston for many years. He was a horse trainer for Chances Are Farm.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph G. and Elizabeth H. Powers of Boston; two sisters, Linda Powers Mattison of Vincentown, NJ., and
Kathryn Powers Hudson of Gilbertsville, Pa.; two brothers, Joseph G. Powers Jr. and C. Mark Powers, both of Boston, three nieces and six nephews.
A Rosary service was held at Clore Funeral Home Chapel on March 12.
Mr. Powers was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Chinch, where his funeral service was conducted
March 13 by Father Maurice duCastillion and Father Leo Zonneveld. Interment was at the Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
Active pallbearers were Joseph G. Powers Jr., C. Mark Powers, Daniel P. Sabine, John M. Sabine, Stephen P. Hawkins, Russell H. Hudson, Thomas L. Mattison and Charles H. Hixson.
