Bula Crigler
Bul» Crigler, 89, of the Baptist Retirement Community, Culpeper, died March 12 at Culpeper Memorial Hoepital following a brief illness.
Miss Crigler was the daughter of Joseph Nelson and Lucy Lauck Crigler of Rappahannock County. She was a 1918 graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman's College and taught school for many years. She also worked for the Department of Navy for a number of years.
She is survived by one niece, Mariella Worley of Spout Springs; one nephew, Lewis N. Springer of Warrenton; a first cousin, four great-nephews and one great-niece.
A graveside service was conducted March 15 at the Hebron Lutheran Church in Madison by Pastor Elmer Bosserman and Pastor James Baseler.
Pallbearers were J. Carlton Clore, Joseph C. Kincheloe, Lucian Walter Clore, J. W. Clore, Richard
Wiltshire, William F. Springer, Robert N. Springer and Joseph R. Springer.
Virginia Chilton
Virginia Hill Chilton, 88, of Remington, died March 12 at University Hospital, Stony Brook, New York.
Mrs. Chilton was a native of Louisa County and a former teacher in Rappahannock, Warren and Culpeper counties. She had lived in Remington since 1936. Mrs. Chilton
