Lions have
free tests
Lions of Virginia, District 24-A, Sight and Hearing Mobile Screening Unit will visit Rappahannock County on Tuesday, March 24, Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26. The Rappahannock Lions Club is sponsoring this project as one of its community service activities. Screening will be done by Lions Club members.
Adults are invited to come for the free testing on Tuesday, March 24 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Wakefield School in Huntly and Wednesday, March 25 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Rappahannock County High SchooL Glaucoma and diabetes tests will be available to adults in addition to the sight and hearing tests. Those adults desiring diabetes test must fast for at least six hours before the test. Ingest nothing by mouth except water.
No adults will be tested on Thursday.
Students will be scheduled through each school’s principal. Wakefield School students will be scheduled Tuesday, March 24 between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Rappahannock County High School students will be scheduled on Wednesday, March 25 between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and Rappahannock County Elementary School students will be scheduled on Thursday, March 26 between 9 a.m. and ft n m
