LOOKING BUT

NOT FINDING?

Do you find yourself looking for a home but unable to find the right house with monthly payments that match your pocketbook? Well, here is some advice.

If you are really sincere about buying, the chances are that you will have to pay more than you expected for the house that really fits your needs. Don’t expect prices to go lower if you wait. Start looking in a little higher price bracket. Every thousand or two higher means a much larger number of houses opened for your inspection. You may find a lower tax bill may more than offset the higher price in your total monthly payment.

If you have been limiting yourself to new houses only, start considering the advantages and savings of a modem house already broken in or a fine older home that has been modernized. Consider new geographic areas and get more REALTORS working for you. Don’t quit, don’t get discouraged. It’s worth the extra time and effort because there is no better time to buy than now.

If there is anything we can do to help you in the field of real estate, please phone or drop in at EILEEN M. DAY, Realtor, The Clopton House, Washington, Va. 22747. Phone: 675-3400. We’re here to help.
