The Washington Town Council agreed to incorporate the revenue and expenditures of the town water works into the overall town budget at its June meeting, held last Wednesday.
This change was presented by Treasurer Brad Fisher, presiding in the absence of Mayor Dean Morehouse. Mr. Fisher was seeking an informal concensus so he could proceed with next year’s budget. The four members present agreed with his request, but postponed a formal vote until council’s next meeting, set for July 8.
