The United Methodist Women will meet on Monday, June 22, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Margaret Eastham.
The Extension Homemakers Club held its annual county-wide international dinner June 9 at the Flint Hill fire hall. This year French cuisine was featured. A good crowd attended.
Sarah Spence of Harrisonburg and Eric Grove of Front Royal spent several days last week with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Lee. Joining them for dinner on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Spence and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Grove.
Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lillard on Sunday were Thomas Williams of Front Royal, Shelby Kerns of Fredericksburg, Mrs. Powell and Sandy Powell of Haymarket, Edith Graves of Warrenton and Leon Lillard of Broad Run.
Mrs. Jeanette Miller and daughter Amanda of Falls Church spent Saturday and Sunday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Marcy. The Marcys attended a get together Saturday at the home of Ann and Wayne Sutphin. Mrs. Sutphin celebrated her birthday during the weekend. The Sutphins’ daughter Tracey graduated Saturday from Rappahannock County High School.
