Plains. She was the widow of John A. Pearson.
Surviving are two daughters, Frances P. Lackey, Bladensburg, Md., and Gladys P. Kannard, The Plains, a son Leo F. Pearson, The Plains, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted June 12 at the Marshall Baptist Church by Rev. John Willis. Interment was at the Warrenton cemetery.

Weda Yowell
Weda McAllister Yowell, 84, of Culpeper, died June 8 at her residence.
She was a native of Pennsylvania and was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer Yowell of Culpeper; two sons, John Edward Brown and Wayne Marshall Brown, both of Culpeper; one sister, Gladys Bradley of Culpeper; one brother, Levi McAllister of Culpeper; one grandchild and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 10 at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper with the Rev. John Farrar officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
